Dan Pendley

After graduating from college with a degree in marketing, economics and finance, Dan joined the corporate ranks as a salesman for a Fortune 500 company in Dallas, Texas. Dan was quickly promoted to District Sales Manager in San Antonio, Texas, where he managed the San Antonio and south Texas markets.

After five years, Dan was promoted to the New York corporate office serving in a new position of the Sales and Marketing Departments. After a short stint in Manhattan, Dan accepted a position on the West Coast and became the youngest Regional Sales Manager in the company’s history where he was responsible for 52 sales people in 5 western states, headquartered in San Francisco, California. After 5 years in California, Dan got the itch to start his own business. He returned to San Antonio and started his first pool company in his garage.

During the next 30+ years, Dan and his wife developed the company into a multi-million dollar business which was recognized by Pool & Spa News as one of the Top 50 pool companies in the nation. Dan semi-retired in 2009 and moved to their lake home on Lake LBJ in Horseshoe Bay. Before long Dan became bored so he and his wife Debbie moved to Conroe where they continued designing and selling custom swimming pools, spas and water features. They recently opened a new office in the historical district of Montgomery, Texas, located at 306 John A Butler and are looking to service the custom pool market in Montgomery County and surrounding areas.

MASTER DESIGNER

Debbie has been in the pool business for over 15 years and has worked alongside her husband Dan in every phase of the swimming pool business. She is a Master Designer and has won numerous regional and international design awards for swimming pools, spas and backyard environments.

In addition to hands on experience, Debbie has continued her ongoing training with Genesis3, which provides an international forum for continuing education and the establishment of higher standards in watershape, swimming pool, and water feature design and installation. She has completed courses in Professional Drawing & Presentation, Introduction to Perspective Drawing, Elements of Design, and Color Theory.

Debbie grew up in Tomball and lived in Houston, San Antonio, Boerne, and Horseshoe Bay before moving to Conroe in 2013. She recently opened Dominion Pool Group, Inc. in Montgomery, Texas, which specializes in the custom design and building of swimming pools, spas, and outdoor environments that includes landscaping, lighting, summer kitchens, pergolas, water, and fire features.
